  My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over 3 years now. Last year, we decided to attempt to seek professional assistance and perhaps see what exactly was wrong with us. I did the research and found that there were two really great centers in San Diego; one is affiliated with the UCSD and another fairly close by. Check on the reviews and both were highly regarded and highly rated. Needless to say our first round of IVF was a disaster, and was not successful. I was completely turned off by the process as I took the strongest drug regimen to no avail. During one appointment with my OB/GYN I describe the situation. Dr. Truong recommended that we give Dr. Arnold a try down to the hall. I was completely turned off by the whole process so a year went by. After a year of trying unsuccessfully, we decided to finally see Dr. Arnold at CCRM and understand what our options are. During our consultation, Dr. Arnold heard our story, looked at the prescription list from our IVF, and stated that historically some woman are unresponsive with such strong strengths. Looking at our charts, she realized that I was ovulating that week, she suggested that we give IUI a try this month, so that we wouldn't miss an opportunity. We finalized everything, and went to get all the required lab testing for Friday of that week. The stars must have been aligned for everything that Friday. Upon my return from an east coast tour for two weeks with my parents, I took a home pregnancy test. It was positive, to her shock. She took 9 other pregnancy tests between two days, and lab work confirmed it from the doctor. We are so happy!!! I mean after 3 years of trying and failed IVF attempt where the doctor started suggesting that we get donor eggs, and having me in tears that day. I was again in tears, tears of joy that we finally will have our very own baby. We cannot be any happier, my husband now talks to the baby growing in my womb all day every day. Thank you Dr. Arnold and the crew of CCRM.
